Dear Parents and Friends,

This fall, our own Hebrew School will again provide Jewish education to our children, ages preschool through ninth grade. The first day of school is Sunday, August 29. The full school schedule will be sent once you register. I am pleased to tell you that Estee Gold-Kaplan, our education director, will direct the Hebrew School from the preschool/tot program through the eighth grade. Please look for Estee’s emails for details regarding Hebrew School, after we have received your registration information. Please don’t forget to include a valid email address.

Please find enclosed to this letter, the registration form. There are a few changes.

* If you have a child age birth to pre-K and are interested in our Tot Shabbat program, please take the time to register. There is no cost to this program, however, our teachers and volunteers need to plan for the coming school year. (You may register at any time in the year for this program!)

* Please share our information regarding Hebrew School with your family and friends who may be interested in enrolling their children in our program. We would like to extend a welcome to unaffiliated families. If an unaffiliated family would like to enroll their children, they may pay our TBS Hebrew School tuition, registration and fees without affiliating with TBS for one year. This policy only applies to children in grades Kindergarten through Second.

* Finally, I am asking you to please respond to this registration by completing the forms and sending them to the mailing address (PO Box 2230, Hudson, Ohio 44236) with the appropriate fees, registration and tuition as noted. Please note on the envelope that it is for the TBS Hebrew School. Make checks available to Temple Beth Shalom. The required fee for registration is $30 (per family).

As you can imagine, having our own Hebrew School requires more time through volunteers and through TBS staff. Your prompt registration and payment will be greatly appreciated.
