Singers who read music notation are needed to join the choir for our upcoming Interfaith Thanksgiving service at 7PM on Sunday, Nov. 24, at Christ Church Episcopal.

We’ll perform “With a Voice of Singing” by Martin Shaw, and “Kol HaN’shama,” adapted from a canon by Michael Praetorius, with Hebrew text from Psalm 150. There will be a quick 45 minute rehearsal shortly before the service begins.

Please email Amy McCormick at amy81752@aol.com to let her know you are coming and she will provide you with sheet music for both pieces. If anyone would like to sing and needs help to learn their part, or would like to practice before the day of the performance, Amy has kindly offered to schedule a time to get together to practice, so please drop her a line.

It will be a great occasion to raise our voices in song together with our sister faith communities, and I’m grateful to Amy for taking the lead in organizing. Please join us for this fun and meaningful event!
