“Welcome Home” Indoor Adult Shabbat Service

Friday, July 16 at 7:30 pm in the TBS Sanctuary

After safely worshiping together outdoors on June 4 in Kim and Mike’s spacious backyard, the TBS Board and Staff have agreed to move to the next step in our re-opening strategy by worshiping together indoors in our sanctuary, while still meeting the current COVID criteria.

We are proud to tell you that the entire temple building has been prepared for our re-opening services and events. Our Brotherhood arranged for a deep cleaning of the entire building, including the carpeting in the sanctuary and social hall, restrooms and kitchen. A Plexiglass shield protects us and Cantorial Soloist, Robin Selinger when she sings so we can still enjoy her gift of music. Even the prayer books we use on July 16 will be rotated out so the possibility of sharing the virus is reduced. We encourage you to join us as we welcome you back to your spiritual home, Temple Beth Shalom.

RSVP REQUIRED TO ATTEND
We respect the need to keep social distancing for the immediate future, even for fully vaccinated congregants and guests, so we need to know exactly how many people to expect for pre-planned seating in the sanctuary.

MASKS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES
We respectfully request that those who plan to attend in person be vaccinated prior to the service. Those who are not yet vaccinated or those who are not comfortable worshiping together in person are welcome to enjoy the service on Zoom.

ONEG IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE SERVICE
A brief “welcome home oneg” Is being provided by Len Rose in memory of his wife, Joanne Beck. COVID rules will be followed in the foods we serve and how they are presented.

RSVP TO LAURIE FRANKINO lfrankino@gmail.com if you plan to attend in person and list how many people will be in your group.

Shabbat Shalom,
Jonathan Selinger and Laurie Frankino
