Letter from Rabbi Ross

We had a wonderful Community Seder last Sunday evening to celebrate Passover and the holiday of freedom. A huge thank you to Laurie and Jen Frankino, Deb Rogers, Dave Holland, and Michelle Touve for planning, assisting and making our seder happen!

TORAH FOR OUR TIMES
This Saturday, 4/19, at 9:45 am we will study the crossing of the sea in Exodus, and the Song of Songs, two special Passover texts! Passover treats will be served. Prayer Essentials will begin at 9:00 am. Short prayer service at 11:00.

NATIONAL NEWS
Earlier this week, the Union of Reform Judaism joined 9 other major Jewish organizations to call out the Trump administration’s dangerous approach to rounding up citizens in the name of fighting antisemitism. Today, six more Kent State international students were arrested. Please read the details of the URJ announcement at the link below.

TBS Legacy Fund Update

Participation increasing!

We’re getting CLOSER!

An email was sent last week to all those who have yet to participate in our mitzvah of insuring the long-term survival of our Jewish presence here in Hudson. Please help us own our building and fund future needs well into the future.

As of this date, participation increased from 52% to 60%, great progress but still looking to get that up to 80, 90, 100%. Let’s all do our part.
Again, no contribution is too small, and our match is still happening so whatever you give will be doubled. Our total is up to 85% so let’s keep this going.

We’re almost there. Please join us in this important project. Let’s get that participation up to 100%. You can send a check to TBS, 50 Division St, Hudson, OH 44236 or donate on line through Zeffy and choose the fee down to zero.

Thank you and blessings to all,
Larry
