Sisterhood Schmooze 7/9/2015

The Passing of the Torch

The days, weeks, months and years pass by and then we pause for a moment to soak it all in. The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Shalom wishes to sincerely thank our co-presidents, Lisa Singer and Sandy Ternay, for their years of dedicated and passionate service.

Time and again, they have been there for us… inspiring us; guiding us; educating us and, most importantly, leading our Sisterhood to greatness by putting TBS on the map!

Thank you so much, Lisa and Sandy. Of course, these ladies are not fading into the proverbial woodwork! Lisa will continue in her important role as WRJ Central District NE Area Director; and Sandy will assume responsibility for the Sisterhood treasury and all things fiscal.

Additionally, Lisa will be assisting with Membership retention and recruitment endeavors.

Sisterhood expresses a warm and cordial welcome and Mazel Tov to Robin Rosen-Sharp as she begins her term as our new president. We wish you well, Robin, and are looking forward to a dynamic, productive, fun and memorable year ahead.

Under Robin’s skillful leadership, we are certain to successfully fulfill our mission and accomplish our goals!

Jennifer Kornblum will continue on as our Secretary; and Stefani Carlson will continue in her role as Parliamentarian. And, yours truly is celebrating her third year as weekly Schmooze editor. I am pleased and honored to continue in that role.

We sincerely appreciate the above individuals and wish to again thank them for their devotion, dedication and inspiring leadership.

Since members are the heart and soul of our Sisterhood, we also wish to thank all of the sistas for your support, loyalty and participation.

As they say… The best is yet to come!

TBS Sisterhood Calendar Capers

Thank you to all of the ladies of the core planning group who participated in last month’s collaborative meeting which focused on scheduling activities and highlighting events for the remainder of this year and through 2016.

Special thanks to Stefani Carlson for hosting!

Be sure to watch the Schmooze for future details…
