Issue #657
Letter from Rabbi Ross

Dear TBS Friends and Family,
I arrived back from my amazing trip to Israel on Tuesday.
In Psalm 23, we encounter the wonderful metaphor of a “cup that overflows,” in Hebrew “kosi revaya.”
I feel like I have returned with two cups in my hands.
One cup is overflowing with joy for my experiences and my deep connections to the Israelis I met.
The second cup is overflowing with tears, from the sadness of theВ pain and traumas.
I look forward to sharing with my TBS community about my trip in the next several weeks.
This Saturday, 3/2, we will have our next Prayer Lab session, and I will take some time at the start of the morning to discuss a few parts of my trip.
Next Friday, 3/8, after our service, I will have a presentationВ in our social hall after our oneg dessert.
