The news of this week out of the Middle East is chilling. As Israel girds for Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah’s response to these assassinations we are all holding our collective breath. Take time this Shabbat, to give those anxieties a rest. Find some time for feasting, and some time for reflection, and some time for silence.
May Shabbat hold us for blessing as we navigate these difficult days. Shabbat Shalom – a Shabbat of peace and wholeness.
Torah For Our Times Returns this August!
We have taken the past two years to explore Jewish prayer on Saturday mornings with “Prayer Lab.” This summer we are returning to our popular Torah study class, “Torah For Our Times.” In August and September, we will focus on High Holiday themes.
Each session will be from 9:30 am – 11:15 am. We will study Torah for about an hour or so, and then have a brief morning prayer service.
Bagels and cream cheese will be served!
