e-Megillah
Thursday July 11, 2024 Letter from Rabbi Ross This Friday evening, we will have two special guests, students from my earlier Judaism 101 classes that have completed their studies and are prepared for their conversions – Alex Casparis and Mark Itibrout. Join us to hear their wisdom about their journeys. This will be our last service until late August when we resume Torah For Our Times on Saturday 8/24 and on 8/30 we will have our picnic at Hudson Springs Park. From 7/14 to 7/18, I will conclude my special rabbinic program that focuses on developing our spiritual lives and our spiritual communities. This program has been transformational for me as a spiritual reset after the pandemic. Afterwards, Rabbi Rachel and I will drive Gabe to Camp Havaya, the Reconstructionist camp in the Poconos. After drop-off, Rachel and I will attend the Rabbis Kallah at Wildacres near Asheville, North Carolina the first week of August. Both of us will teach at Camp Havaya the second week of August.
