January Book Club

Our next selection is Alice Hoffman’s new book The Marriage of Opposites, about the women in the life of impressionist painter Camille Pissarro, whom you might not have known was Jewish. Discussion date is Jan. 17 at Mitch’s, 7 pm. (Note that the date has been changed from the previously scheduled Jan. 10.)

For those who are interested or have time, we also highly recommend her last book, The Museum of Extraordinary Things. Jean and I have read them both and would love to discuss them with you.
