Message from the President
In about two weeks Mike and I, along with TBS congregants Rick and Lisa Singer and Robin Rosen-Sharp, will travel to the URJ Biennial 2015. Of course, I’m excited to travel to Florida, but I also hope to learn new things and bring back valuable information to Temple Beth Shalom. I know I’ll have a chance to connect with leaders of other small congregations as well as have opportunities to attend sessions such as 21st Century Problem Solving and The Torah of Jewish Leadership. I’m excited about the many opportunities for experiencing Jewish music, hearing some incredible speakers (including Michael Douglas) and praying together with 5000 Jews. I’m also excited to share that during the biennial our own Lisa Singer will assume office as Treasurer of the North American Women for Reform Judaism for the 2015-17! Mazel Tov to Lisa! I’m wishing you all a sweet Shabbat and I hope to see you Friday night at Shabbat 101. ~Kim
