Sisterhood Shabbat
Please join us as we welcome Shabbat with our annual Sisterhood service and Oneg.
We will be gathering at Temple Beth Shalom Friday evening, April 24, at 7:45 p.m.
Kindly contact Lisa Singer at LisaSinger@aol.com to volunteer for either an English or Hebrew reading… or to contribute a treat for the Oneg to be enjoyed after the service.
The Sisterhood Shabbat is always inspirational and meaningful and we look forward to sharing this with our Temple family.
Thank you for your support of our Sisterhood and congregation!
Sisterhood Shavuot Cheesecake Bake-Off
It won’t be long before the sistas again have an opportunity to work their culinary magic! There will be a grand Cheesecake Bake-Off on Friday evening, May 22nd, following the Shavuot dinner, program and services.
Now’s the time to “sift” through your cookbooks for your favorite cheesecake recipe!
Bakers are requested to create two cheesecakes. One will be shared with the attendees; and the second whole one will be taken home by a lucky raffle winner.
We would be delighted if you shared your recipe; and appreciative of your notations of special dietary components, such as sugar free, nut free and gluten free.
Please bring your cheesecakes to TBS by 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22nd.
Tickets will be sold the night of the event for one dollar apiece or six for five dollars.
Income from this event will support our TBS Religious School students as all proceeds will be designated for the Mary Krupp Camp and Israel Fund.
For information regarding the Bake-Off, please contact Lisa Singer at the address noted above.
Our TBS Religious School Director, Stefani Carlson, is busy coordinating the May 22nd family dinner, programming and special community art project that will be offered that evening in celebration of Shavuot.
For information about these activities, or to make a reservation for the dinner, please contact Stefani at education@tbshudson.org.
Mitzvah Day: Sunday, June 14, 2015

Yours in Sisterhood,
