It’s not too late to phone-in your reservation for our Sisterhood Dinner Out at Papa Joe’s in West Akron. We’ll be gathering on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00 p.m.

Get HAPPY! Come to Sista and Guest Night!

Lisa and Rick Singer are excited to invite all Sisterhood members and guests to their annual Sista and Guest Night on Saturday, May 3rd at 6:00 p.m.

This year’s theme, Happy!, is inspired by Pharrell Williams’ very popular song by the same name.

Here’s the deal: Don’t bother stopping by McDonald’s for a “Happy Meal!” Instead, bring your own favorite appetizer, entrée, salad, vegetable dish or dessert to share with the rest of the happy crowd!

This foodie event of the year promises to be fun and casual. Wear your “happy clothes!”

It’s a great night for sharing! In addition to your culinary treat, please bring a special memento that represents your happy! There will be plenty of time for Show n Tell.

More About Mitzvah Day…

All TBS congregants and friends are welcome to participate in the upcoming community Mitzvah Day events. The majority of the volunteer events will be offered on Sunday, June 1st. The Akron Red Cross volunteer event will be offered a week later… on Sunday, June 8th.

Sisterhood member, Kathy Snyder (katsny0401@yahoo.com) is coordinating the sign-up. Please visit www.mitzvahdayakron.com for complete event information, which includes an online sign-up process. Don’t forget to note your tee-shirt size when registering.
