Letter from Rabbi Ross
Dear TBS friends and family,
Last Friday, I represented TBS at the Thurman Munson Scholarship Dinner in Akron, which was hosted by Steve Fettman and others. During the dinner, we talked about how sports fans can transcend political divisions. When I am at an Indians game, I don’t care if the people I am sitting with are voting one way or the other. We are cheering our team on, and that sense of community is palpable.
May we each find our own way to celebrate both the beautiful blessings and the dramatic challenges that face this country on this Fourth of July. For me and my family, we will be at the Nationals’ Park in D.C. watching my Dodgers and watching the fireworks.
Happy 4th!
