Last week I officiated at the funeral of David Siegel. It was touching and poignant to see so many of David’s friends, TBS folks and caregivers who came to honor this wonderful man. Beth Madis’ father, Arnold Remer, also died last week. His funeral was Friday in Toledo. A special havdalah gathering will be held at her home this Saturday evening, 7/16. May David and Arnold’s memories be a blessing.

Religious School Work Day this Sunday and July 31

Rabbi Rachel Brown is calling on volunteers to assist her in readying the temple building to receive religious school students this fall. A group of Brotherhood, Sisterhood and other temple volunteers met last Sunday morning to clear and reorganize 3 classrooms. Bagels & coffee were served.
Sunday, July 31, we will meet again to build and set new shelving units to organize and reset these new spaces before the start of religious school Sunday, August 28. Questions to James jdfield23@aol.com or Laurie lfrankino@gmail.com.
