Message from the President 11/17/2016

Co-President Kim StrausserDear Friends, The melodies from the High Holy Days are still echoing in my mind, but here we are in mid-November! We look to celebrate Hanukkah at TBS on December 16th, but the holiday actually doesn’t begin until December 24th eve. How fun, that this year the beginning of Hanukkah coincides with another famous eve! This week on Thursday, we have been invited to meet at the First Congregational Church of Hudson to celebrate Tea Time For Peace; with our neighbors from the Akron Interfaith Council, the Islamic Society of Akron and Kent, the Richfield Interfaith Coalition, the Women’s Interfaith Spiritual Heritage and Zonta, Hudson Chapter, to enjoy presenters from different faith communities. The event is to “learn and celebrate one another as we share tea and treats.” Shabbat services are this Friday, November 18th at TBS. If I don’t see you, I want to wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. ~Kim
