Sisterhood General Meeting

There will be a general meeting of the Sisterhood at TBS in the Social Hall on Sunday, January 11th. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Bring your personal calendars and plenty of ideas for events, programming and activities for 2015.

Sisterhood Book Club

The book selected for next month’s gathering is the novel Gone Girl by author Gillian Flynn.

Moema Furtado will be hosting the Book Club on Wednesday, January 14th, at 6:30 p.m., at her home in Hudson.

Rebecca Egolf has volunteered to serve as discussion leader and facilitator.

Perhaps you saw the movie version? Come join us! All sistas are welcome to attend this event.

Congregational Retreat

There will be a Congregational Retreat at the Quail Hollow Resort in Painesville over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend. The event is being held on Saturday, January 18th, and concludes on Sunday, January 19th. The topic is “Reform Judaism–Social Justice and Civil Rights.”

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 21st. The sistas will be gathering at the popular Cilantro Thai & Sushi Restaurant which is located at 326 South Main Street in Akron. We’ll be gathering at 7:00 p.m.

WRJ Fried Leadership Conference

The Women of Reform Judaism will be heading to beautiful Austin, Texas for the 2015 Fried Leadership Conference. The dates are Friday, January 30th, to Sunday, February 1st.
